I am so HAPPY to say I finished that project. To be honest it was really stressful. I mean for one of the parts you had to do a blue print on word ink, and of course none of the people in my group knew how to, but we slowly learned how to do the blue prints. And managed to complete that portion. BUT that wasn't where we really had trouble. Where we really had trouble was the building since we had to keep redo the walls and tables. We even spent $65 on the café in total because décor, card board, plastic, and paint. We ended up having two floors. And when we putting it together we got burned so much from the hot glue :(. But when we put together it looked great, and we ended up getting a 100.

So lately we have been learning how to graph equations, and functions. We even started graphing for our lastest project the cafe. We had to graph everything in the cafe the tables, the doors, the chairs, and etc. We had to two floors so it was a bit harder, we used window paint for the first time which helped us out because, now we have a blue print. For us, graphing was a major key to the project to know the coordinates of everything, and where everything belongs.
So lating we have been working on making a cafe, a budget for it, and a model. So this a group project, we break up the parts by weeks. Each part is due the next week. We have to pick every small detail and do it in the cafe from, the trash can to the back door. Our first task was to see our suppiles that we needed as in the oven, chairs, tables, etc . And how we going to spend, we have budget of $100,000 and have to keep track of what ever we are buying. Our cafe is going meduim size and called Cafe Soir. So far we finished the menu and area. We still have to go over what is going to happen with the extra money, we have left. You never know, we might just end up opening our cafe.
So you may be asking what does driving have to with math and it actually has a lot to do with it. So in math class there was a track set up and you had a race down the track with a toy remote control car. And then get a stop watch to record it. This method helped teach time. I got the lowest speed and tie out my group. I was pretty confused how everyone ended up with three seconds and I had the speed of 11. That's a warning for me not to drive in the future.
So since I am Egyptian I should be understanding this topic totally fine right? Guess again this topic toke way more time to understand then I expected. Basically its a sum of a positive or negative unit fraction. We soon had project on it, which was to do 20 questions and a definition on it. By that time I soon learn how to get the answer to the problems and got a 100 on my project. We even had the idea of decorating it with our names in Arabic.
.So this whole week has been all about midterms. Even though I understood it that wasn't the problem. I was constantly kicked out of the test so I, had so little time to finish it because of the glitches. You might wondering why so many glitches and that's because it was first time we did it online. So on Friday I finally finish even though there were so many glitches. Now I just wait for my grade....
